FAQ!

Do I need a referral?

No, you do not need a referral to begin physical therapy. Delaware is a direct access state, meaning you can gain direct access to your therapist the moment you are ready to start healing without waiting for a physician's visit.

*If you wish to have Dry Needling in your visits, then a referral from your provider specifically stating "dry needling" on it is required.*

Do you accept insurance?

Solace Physical Therapy is a cash-based, out-of-network clinic. This model allows us to prioritize your recovery over insurance requirements. We are happy to provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance carrier for potential out-of-network reimbursement; however, reimbursement is not guaranteed and is dependent on your insurances out-of-network benefits.

Can I use my FSA or HSA to pay
for your services?

Yes, physical therapy is generally a qualified medical expense for both Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA). You can use your account-linked debit card to pay for care at the time of your session. We also provide a detailed superbill that you can submit for reimbursement or to keep for your records.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions depends on your specific goals, the nature of your condition, and your body's unique healing response. Typically, a plan of care ranges from 4 to 10 sessions. We focus on quality over quantity, often seeing clients once a week or every other week as you build strength and independence, providing you with all the tools needed to maintain your progress long-term.

Do you provide wellness sessions?

Yes! At Solace Physical Therapy, we understand that everyone's needs and goals are different. For some of us, all we need is a little "tune up" or self-care day. If you're interested in a one time visit or even regular visits on a weekly/monthly/etc. schedule that focuses solely on what helps you feel good that day, let us know and we'll get you taken care of.

Don't forget your significant other! We also offer scheduling availability for couples. Sessions would be one after the other and you'll have the option of 45min or 60min sessions. Call, text, or email for pricing information.

Do you offer packages?

Absolutely. For wellness sessions, we offer 3 and 6 visit packages that can be utilized whenever you prefer within a 6 month period. For PT services, we offer 6 and 10 visit packages that can be used following the treatment plan we design together. Call, text, or email for pricing details.

How long are the sessions?

Treatment sessions are 60 minutes not including the brief set up and breakdown time for treatment equipment.

What should I wear?

Whatever is comfortable, easy to move in, and allows easy assessment or treatment of the body part that is bothering you!
